KUANTAN, Nov 24 – A student, who had just sat for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, was killed when he was knocked down by a lorry opposite Sekolah Menengah Lanchang near Temerloh, yesterday.
Hoo Chee Chien, 17, who was riding a motorcycle, died of head injuries on the way to the Lanchang Polyclinic, said Pahang public order and traffic chief Supt Mohamed Fauzi Abdul Rahim.
He said the student, who had just taken a Mathematics paper, was making his way to Jalan Mempateh from Jalan Syed Abdullah when he was hit by a lorry laden with limes at 10am. – Bernama
