The Malaysian Insider is the brainchild of seasoned journalist Png Hong Kwang and Sreedhar Subramaniam, the former chief operating officer of ntv7. Our aim is to create an Internet newspaper which offers an unvarnished take on events and personalities in Malaysia.

The Insider will cover the issues of the day, politics, business, sports and entertainment. We hope that in time more Malaysians who crave for balanced and serious reporting on issues will contribute their news and views to us.
